DESCRIPTION
NMT was awarded shipment of 2 reels flexpipe of 92 & 345 tons from quay Le Trait, France to quay Houston, USA.
The largest reel measured 980 cms in height, requiring a special 'open top' vessel for the leg Le Trait to Antwerp.
In Antwerp the reel was transhipped by the floating crane Brabo onto a specially prepared floor of 5 double stacked 40ft Flatracks on the Washington Express of Hapag Lloyd.
A total of 76 lashing chains & tensioners were used to secure the reel under watchfull eyes of our surveyor.
