DESCRIPTION
NMT co-ordinated the shipping and the heavy transport of the Primary & Secondary Crushing Facilities & Overland Conveyors from Sattahip Naval Facility, Thailand to the RGP5 Mine Site at Yandi, approximately 400km inland from Port Hedland.
Cargo was shipped over six sailings over a period of seven months, with the heaviest piece being approximately 175t and pieces being over 30m long, up to 14.9m wide and 11m high.
NMT facilitated the movement of the cargo from under the ships hook to its delivery at the mine site, including Loading and Discharging operations, Shipping, Customs & Quarantine Clearance in Australia, Heavy Haulage Transport and all necessary Road Permits/Horizon Energy Clearance.
