DESCRIPTION
NMT were employed to make the necessary arrangements for shipment of one stacker and one reclaimer from Dalian, China to Port Hedland, Australia.
Construction of machines was carried out by Thyssen Krupp Materials Handling (Australia) under contract to BHPB Iron Ore for their rapid growth project 4. As a result of NMT's prior experience with the load and discharge of these machines for various clients we were able to ensure a smooth and timely operation overseeing all aspects of cargo preparation in accordance with AQIS requirements. NMT liaised with all parties concerned including Shipper, fabrication workshop, stevedore companies, Carrier, Ships Agents, Customs and Quarantine, trucking contractors and receivers to ensure a smooth load and discharge of both shipments and timely delivery of cargo to site.
