DESCRIPTION
Sarens Wind awarded NMT Projects for seatransportation
of their equipment to Barcadera, Aruba. The cargo contained: 1 dismantled Terex-Demag CC 2800 crawler crane, 2 mobile cranes, 3 heavy-haulage trailers, 2 trucks, 1 escort vehicle, 10x 20ft containers and various other equipment with a total of abt. 3000 frtts. This equipment was used to install a new windmill park on Aruba. NMT chartered a geared vessel due to the fact that on Aruba there where no suitable port cranes available. NMT supported Sarens on the contract negotiations, preparing the necessary export documents, arranged the seafastening, arranged port agencies and monitored and supervised during the loading and discharging operation.
