DESCRIPTION

Due to shallow draft, we where required to tow the buoy from Mussafah to Mina Zayed Port (also Abu Dhabi) for loading onto the vessel. The buoy was lifted on board and then using ship's other crane, the chain stoppers were individually lowered into place. There was another problem that the chain stoppers had an overlap of approximately 50cm at the bottom and therefor had to be lashed in place or else the buoy would not be able to be seated on the dunnage wood provided on deck.
